Biography

André Arthur is a visionary producer, writer, director, and choreographer known for crafting everything from large-scale spectacles to immersive, emotionally charged experiences. With over 15 years in live entertainment, he’s collaborated with leading companies like Cirque du Soleil, Dragone, Spiegelworld, Royal Caribbean, and more—pushing creative boundaries and redefining what live performance can be.

André’s journey began on stage as a world-class performer. He danced for icons like Celine Dion (A New Day at Caesars Palace), Jennifer Lopez, Elton John, and in multiple Cirque du Soleil productions and professional dance companies. Even early on, André felt the itch to create—driven by a deep desire to make audiences feel something new. That instinct led him to choreograph, direct, and shape original work in every space he could, setting the foundation for the creator he is today.

One of his early career milestones was directing Franco Dragone’s Dai Show in Yunnan, China—an award-winning aquatic production blending Dai culture, high-level acrobatics, and projection mapping to create a larger than life spectacle that the Dragone company is known for. He went on to write and direct Cirque du Soleil’s One Night for One Drop at the Bellagio “O” Theater, featuring Hans Zimmer and Blue Man Group in Cirque’s first CBS primetime special. Other highlights include directing the immersive outdoor spectacle SAVIA in Puerto Vallarta, the emotional off-Broadway dance production Gray St., and the official Beatles music video for “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” in collaboration with Apple Records.

He recently directed Aqua Action! aboard Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas (the largest cruise ship in the world), an epic aquatic show featuring 3D flying, 180 degree projections, a skateboard half-pipe, 4 large robot arms, the death defying Wheel of WOW, an enormous rain curtain, and a 7 part moving water stage—pushing cruise entertainment into a new era. André also served for multiple years as Creative Director and Choreographer for Spiegelworld and their hit shows Absinthe, Atomic Saloon Show, OPM, and The Hook. He directed and led the expansion of Absinthe post-COVID, created OPM at the Cosmopolitan, The Hook in Atlantic City, and cast and developed over 75 new acts and characters across the company.

As a choreographer specializing in acrobatics and dance, André has redefined productions across the globe. He brought fresh life to Cirque du Soleil’s Mystère, reimagined choreography, acrobatics and projection-driven storytelling for The Beatles LOVE, and created the high-energy arena show Messi10, honoring the legacy of soccer icon Leo Messi. He also choreographed ALLAVITA!, a vibrant six-month residency at the World Expo in Milan, and infused blockbuster spectacle into Marvel Universe Live: Age of Heroes, a global arena tour produced by Feld Entertainment.

Currently, André is breaking new ground in the world of magic. Helping to create All Stars of Magic at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas and producing a bold, adults-only magic experience launching soon in Miami, Florida. He also continues to develop standout acts for America’s Got Talent, including the Golden Buzzer-winning performance by Billy & Emily England on AGT: Fantasy League. Fueled by a relentless drive to innovate, André is constantly evolving, chasing the next idea that will leave audiences breathless.
