I had the incredible opportunity to Direct and Choreograph Dai Show—a large-scale water and acrobatic spectacle produced by Dragone in the heart of Xishuangbanna, China. Set in a custom-built, award-winning water theater designed by Stufish, the show was a vibrant tribute to the rich and colorful Dai culture, known as the land of peacocks and elephants. Dai Show was a breathtaking blend of soaring acrobatics, immersive 3D flying, and explosive fountains erupting from every corner of the venue. With elaborate set pieces, vivid costumes, and stunning projection mapping that transformed the entire space into shifting dreamscapes, we brought the spirit of the Dai people to life in a way that was both respectful and unforgettable. It was a high-energy celebration of culture, nature, and performance that left audiences on the edge of their seats.
