As part of the 2016 revamp of The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil, I had the thrill of choreographing two acts set to some of the most legendary songs in music history. For While My Guitar Gently Weeps, I teamed up with visionary illustrator DandyPunk to create a stunning projection world, then choreographed both the solo dancer and animated movement—bringing this iconic ballad to life through a raw, dreamlike journey that felt both deeply human and surreal. For Yesterday, I crafted a breathtaking duet of hand-to-hand and aerial trapeze, transforming one of the most beloved songs ever written into a high-stakes emotional flight through love, memory, and loss—keeping the audience on the edge of their seat from the first drop to the final ascension.

Revamp Choreographer “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” And “Yesterday”

I had the incredible opportunity to co-direct the official While My Guitar Gently Weeps music video for The Beatles, alongside the brilliant DandyPunk. Inspired by the act we created for The Beatles LOVE, we transformed that emotional stage moment into a cinematic dreamscape. Using live in-camera projection mapping and hand-drawn animation, the dancer moves through an illustrated world that reacts to her every breath. It’s a visually stunning tribute to George Harrison and George Martin’s legendary string arrangement—brought to life in a way only Cirque and The Beatles could imagine.
